Our First Meeting and our Next!

Our First Meeting! Bravi to all who came!

We hope all is well with each of you! Most of you were at out first organizational meeting and we were very excited by the turnout. Nearly 60 people were in attendance and had a great evening. Sergio and I were able to introduce the organizing partners in the project and present our mission statement as well as the goals of the Stone Street Theatre. George Elson with the Metropolitan, Kourtny Penn with the Central Dallas Association and Miranda Bryant with the Adolphus had so many good words to say about the future and were very impressed by the interest of those attending. What a great kickoff to the Stone Street Theatre, Upstairs at the Metropolitan!

We wanted to let you know about the next meeting on Monday, July 11th from 8:00-10:00 p.m. . The Metropolitan at 1525 Main Street has again offered to give us the space for the meeting. Please enter from the Stone Street entrance between the Metropolitan and Campisi's (unless of course you would like to have some dinner/drinks beforehand in the restaurant). Once we begin performances this will be the entrance to the theatre space.

There is a lot of excitement about this project and we want to keep moving along and continue to work toward acquiring what we need to open the doors. We will be sending out an agenda in the next few days to let you know what we are going to discuss. We will also be looking at the organization structure and seeing how each of you will be using your many talents and amazing experience to help grow this new community organization.

As always if you have any suggestions, comments or questions please let us know. If you couldn't make the last meeting, please come to this one. We'd be more than happy to see you there and let others know about! The more the merrier!
